We offer a wide array of design and decorator services. We’re happy to help with entire homes, specific rooms, and even commercial spaces. But we also enjoy smaller projects that make your space uniquely yours.

- Kitchen and bath renovation (in consultation with contractor)
- Custom framing selection for paintings and photographs
- Custom wallpaper designs available through Emerson House Wallcoverings
- Consultations on furniture or décor purchases, holiday decorating, or any other design questions you may have

If you live outside the Metro Detroit area or in another state and would like to use our services, we will travel to you or consult with you by phone and Zoom – it’s up to you!
JUST FOR YOU
We emphasize the personal touch. We want your experience to be comfortable and easy.
If you like shopping and want to make trips to a Design Center for fabric, furniture, and wall coverings selection, that’s great! We’ll make sure those excursions are on point and your time is put to good use.
If, on the other hand, you would rather have us bring selections to you so you can “shop” in the comfort of your own home, we are happy to accommodate you.

OUR PROCESS WITH YOU
- Initial Consultation – Either on-site or by telephone and Zoom to learn about your desires and needs.
- Planning – We create a design concept based on the scope of your project, your goals, and your budget.
- Selections – We present furniture, fabric, art, and accessory options for your approval.
- Rework and Pricing – We provide a second round of selections for anything you didn’t approve in Round One. At this time, we provide pricing for all items you’ve approved.
- Deposit/Orders – You provide a deposit for any furnishings orders you would like us to place. Please note that vendors charge a restocking fee for items returned.
- Delivery and Installation – We supervise the placement of deliveries and installations in your home.
- Post-Installation Review – We compile a punch list of outstanding items that need attention and address them ASAP. Once these are completed, we will be happy to have your space photographed for you.
